PostNord, the Swedish postal company, has issued a postage stamp featuring eco-activist Greta Thunberg. The postage stamp is part of the “Valuable Nature” series and is dedicated to environmental issues.
The stamps in the series depict Swedish mountain flora, landscape, wetlands, and endangered animal species. The new stamp features Greta Thunberg in a yellow cape, a look in which she has been actively raising the topic of ecology in recent years.

The design is meant to reflect our times. Environmental issues have been actively discussed over the past few years, not least because of Greta Thunberg’s strong voice,” says Stina Olofsdotter of the PostNord.
Interestingly, Greta Thunberg didn’t stop there, but commented on the One Planet Summit, which was about protecting biodiversity. Greta said that political leaders set “ambitious” goals for the future, which they then do not stick to.
