American poet Amanda Gorman will be the first to speak at the opening night of the 2021 Super Bowl of American soccer.
Amanda Gorman is the youngest national poet laureate in America. Amanda has already performed at the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. At that time, she performed her piece “The Hill We Climb.”
She will reportedly dedicate her performance to health care workers who are battling the coronavirus. But she will pay special attention to three people: nurse Susie Dorner, veteran James Martin and educator Trimaine Davis.
These people were chosen by lot by the event organizers.
As a reminder, the Super Bowl 2021 will open on February 7.
